I delayed buying a book at the Roman Colosseum bookstore last month on the assumption that I could find one on the street on a later day. But I couldn't locate a bookstore to buy an English version. So I searched the internet, but to no avail. Does the Colosseum bookstore sell books online? And if so, what is the address?
I haven't been able to find it. What book are you hoping to find?
Are you looking for the one that overlays to show how it would have looked with the as it stands today pictures under?
I am not looking for a specific book, but for a website, if it exists, for the bookstore within the colosseum so that I might make a choice online.
While this doesn't exactly answer your question, Gary, I think I can help. I am in Rome now and was visiting Borri Books today. They have a lot of the sort of books you seem to want. The publisher (Vision Roma) has a website: www.visionpubl.com. There were books on different historic sites, many of the overlay, before/after variety. Borri Books doesn't have a website.
