I have been checking out the site to buy colosseo guided tour tix and see that by the time I get up (early) they are mostly gone. Does anyone know what time each day they make them available on their site? Not looking for info on any other tours, just for the official tour sold by the official ticketing site. Thanks, Bill

I looked into using the website for the trip we just returned from but it was going to mean hassling through the middle of the night on the east coast. So instead I bought an “Audioguide Tour” through Get Your Guide - it was just tickets and a link to their audio guide app (which we didn’t use) and it was cheaper than any guided tours. They also offered a number of guided tours. It’ll be earlier for you on the west coast but if you’re not able to purchase on their website you could try that approach. Good luck with the trip!
They are available 720 hours in advance. So a 9am ticket goes on sale at 9am Rome time 30 days in advance, 10am tickets go on sale at 10am, etc. Underground tickets are also probably the hardest ticket to get in the whole city; they sell out pretty much immediately.
