3 college kids: 2 boys/brothers and their girl cousin starting out in Rome. Where should they go in 3 weeks?

Where do they want to go? What are their interests? And , most importantaly WHEN... ( this summer?)
If summer, I would say to 4 days Rome, 2 days Venice , 2 days Florence, and then the rest of the time in Greece,, the islands are so fun..

They leave Monday. They are kids, I am a mom, they don't worry, I do. They have Rome reservations and don't seem concerned about the "next step'. I've done all I can. Thank you all for your input and help.
