Is it worth it to book a Coliseum tour? We have a 15 year old, 2 11 year olds, a 9 year old and a 7 year old. If so, who do you suggest? Thank you.
Hi Linda,
Depending on your budget, these tour companies get very good reviews.

If you're a do-it-yourself researcher, you can follow a book or audio guide. You can buy tickets from their official website: https://www.coopculture.it/it/colosseo-e-shop.cfm - It can be reached by bus or metro if you are staying in or near the city centre.
Read TA reviews to get some pointers.
eta Some advice: Be careful of Roman Gladiators who seem friendly and willing to take a picture with you; especially with kids. They demand a lot of Euros and become aggressive unless you pay what they demand. There are many, many reviews about this behavior. I don't know the accuracy of all this, but it seems to happen at the Pantheon and the Colosseum.
