On the coopculture web site. There's an audio tour available but I'm still confused about entrance time. What happens if you don't show up at entrance time? Also I know RS has an audio tour, but it looks like the general entrance tour without audio is sold out.
Another question, is what part of the Coliseum that you do you get to see with the general entrance and or audio tour entrance? Also does the audio tour include the 2 day opportunity to see the other places:The Roman Forum and Palatine Hill?

The full entrance ticket includes the Forum and Palatine (no tour of those parts). Those two can be visited on the same day as your tour or the day after. You will visit just the general-public areas of the Colosseum with this tour: not the underground, arena floor or belvedere. Same with an audio tour.

Then I would imagine you lose your ability to enter until after 2:00 and your use of the Colosseum audioguide: no refund. If you don't feel you can commit to a specific time/date, then buy this ticket...
...and download Rick's audioguide to your own device. This is the most "general" ticket you can purchase, you can use it on any day BUT it doesn't allow you to enter the Colosseum before 2:00 PM. You can, however, do the Forum/Palatine before 2:00 or visit them the next day.
