Clothes Shopping while on Southern Italy Tour

Ladies,

I am just back from this tour.

Save your shopping for linen until you go on the tour. There are wonderful dresses, tops and pants you can get for an average of 30 euros, which is at least half of what you will pay here in the States.

A must store to shop at is Mandala in Vieste. He has to die for silk pieces for 30 euros. I also got silk scarves (10 euros for the small) and a pair of earrings with a labradorite stone.

But, you will find treasures all along the way.

I was nicknamed the Shopper on our tour :-)

I just came back from the Greece tour, which was amazing btw, and we had a couple of super shoppers on our tour too. But I’m curious about what you thought of the tour? Love it? What you expected/hoped it would be? Linen would be nice and cool for southern Italy for sure.

That is not an easy question to answer. If limited to yes or no; then an absolute yes. However, it all depends on what you want to get out of a tour. My answer is also biased because of my personal RS tour experience. Prior to this tour, I have only done the single city tours of London and Paris. This tour was completely different from those with the multiple location, less museum and iconic sights and more a glimpse of Italy and Italians past and present.
