In Rick Steve’s Italy it said the combo ticket was 18€. We can only find a option for 30€. Help! We are trying to get reservations for October 5

I believe you are correct and Rick’s pricing must be outdated from a time when they just let you book dome tickets only. Now the only official option I see too is the Brunelleschi Ticket which is a combo ticket for 30€. https://operaduomofirenze.skiperformance.com/en/store#/en/buy

I did purchase the Brunelleschi ticket too. It’s indeed 30 but includes other museums that sound interesting.

The ticketing /pricing options changed this year
As did a lot of other venues after COVID
It is always best to check official sites for most updated info, even if you are using latest edition guide books
