Hi everyone! My fiance and I will be traveling to Rome mid-May for a week and would LOVE to take a cooking class. Mostly how to make pasta and or different pasta dishes. Any suggestions on how to find one or anybody go to one they really enjoyed? Thanks!
Our old friend "Ron In Rome" has collected a good bit of information on this here: Cooking Classes in Rome We did one last year, but it didn't focus on pasta dishes, nor was it all that serious about teaching cooking. We had a blast, though. Here are a few photos, in case you're interested. If you go, tell Chef Andrea that Michael says "Ciao." :-)
Thanks so much for the tip! The class really does look fun! Thanks for the pictures too! We will check out Ron in Rome I keep hearing about the site and I admit I have been on it but have not looked around much! Now I'll have to! lol! Thanks!
We made 3 different pastas when we took a class with Chef Fabio, http://www.fabiolouscookingday.com . Great day, lots of fun and learned a lot.
We tried to sign up for Chef Andrea's class in June but he will be out of town the weekend we are in Rome, we are very disappointed. I looked at the Ron In Rome webpage (great site, thanks Ron) and started to check out the different classes. Does anyone have a recommendation from a class they attended? Chef Andrea's cost at 65 Euro (per person) was in our budget, we would like to stay in the same price range but will increase it if we find the right class.
Thanks
