Clarity on Renon/Rittenhouse cablecar?

Hello! I am hoping someone here can clarify the situation around the Renon/Ritten cablecar. 🙏I have read some conflicting information. Our party of 3 will be arriving in Bolzano at 3:30. The only bag storage place I see is at the train station, and they close at 6. (We will then get on a train to Merano). We were hoping to take a hike to the Earth Pyramids. Some say you reach it from the town of Oberbozen, a 12 min gondola ride from Bolzano. Others say you must take the narrow-gauge train to Klobenstein/Collalbo to reach the Earth Pyramids. If so, I don't think we can make the hike and get back to our bags at the train station by 6.
Does anyone know if the TI in any of the towns store baggage? Or any other place that might be open a bit later than 6? If not, can anyone clarify if the Earth Pyramid hike takes off from Oberbozen or Klobenstein/Collalbo? And if that doesn't work, are there other hikes in the area that are recommended? Perhaps the Freudpromenade? Thanks so very much!

Yes, you must take the train as well as the cableway. See https://www.ritten.com/en/3105-hiking . At least that is the most efficient way without a car. We did it some years ago. If you only have a couple of hours, the Earth Pyramids are out of reach.

Base Camp Dolomites website shows they are open at the train station in Bolzano until 6:30pm. Radical Storage offers multiple sites in Bolzano.
