Clarifying Vax requirements for Italy travel

So, the rules say one needs to be vaxxed at 6 months prior to entry & have a negative COVID test. It's been more than 6 months since my family and I have been vaccinated BUT we've been boosted in the last 2 months. Plus we need to take a COVID test before we get on the plane and need a negative test before entry. Am I gonna be able to get in Italy during March? I'm having panic attacks but I feel like I'm doing all the right things!

Your booster counts as your third vaccination
You are good to go

Use this tool and check with your airlines they should provide you with all required info, docs etc

Also keep an eye on entry requirements, they could change soon
We are all hoping Italy drops the entry test

You will need to test before your return to US as well

I wonder how likely (or unlikely) it is that Italy drops testing requirements. I’m set to travel to Milan-Venice-Florence with my vaccinated family of five for spring break, and I’m getting anxious about the testing. I think I saw that the existing protocols are set to expire on March 15. Our departure from the US is on March 17. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they ditch the test!

We leave the 10th, so we’ll be missing some of the new changes! I’ve prepared to have eMed.com do our video testing to get back into the US.

Hoping this all works out well!
