I am going on the 17-day tour to Italy in Sept. 2023.
You will see all the stops, we are making Florence, Venice, Rome, etc,
I would like to Tour a sandal making factory. I understand they will make you
custom leather sandals.

I was on the Rick Steves Southern Italy tour this summer and I saw some places in the Amalfi coast that make sandals. However, the separate parts were already made and they fit the shoe to your foot. These were NOT factories. But your tour does not go to southern Italy.
