I am trying to buy Cinque Terre Treno cards on-line and through the app for early May, but it appears you cannot do this online/in the app currently, perhaps due to the new pricing schedule? Does anyone have any information on this or know when online purchases will be possible again? Thank you in advance!

Belinda, can you explain where, more exactly, the website is hanging you up? I chose a random date in May, am able to choose "Buy" for a random card, and go on to the next page where you choose how many cards you want, fill in first and last name and add to the shopping cart. Obviously, I didn't do that last part as I'm not buying.

Thank you Kathy. I can get all of the tickets into the cart but when I click checkout, rather than checkout it removes the tickets from the cart. When trying to purchase them using the app, it says there are no tickets available for that date.

So is there a reason you feel you must purchase through the app? Would just buying online be OK if it works?
Ooops, I reread your last post and it appears you've already tried it both ways. Hmmm.
What you might do, if you haven't already, is try tomorrow during what would be business hours in Italy? Some Italian websites are funky that way.

I am fine buying in person, but since the date I need the pass for is considered top tier for crowding, I was hoping to avoid lines by buying in advance. Do you have any thoughts on that? Thanks!

Was there April 5th, towns were crowded. Was discouraged by guide to not purchase through app -- though I don't know why. We arrived by 9am and there was a very short line at the Levanto train station to purchase....it grew by 9:30. I was told lines worse in LaSpezia but I don't really know.

I bought the card today in La Spezia at about 11am, there two persons in front of me, I waited about a minute. I tried to buy it in the Lucca train station earlier in the morning but the guy said I had to buy in La Spezia.

The cards can only be purchased at these Welcome Centers within the CT region or online.

Try another browser. I was finally able to purchase using FireFox. I had the same issue where it would empty my cart.
