We'll be in Cinque Terre in September and staying in Manarola. Will we be able to have dinner in one of the other villages and still return to our hotel in the evening? I didn't know how late the trains ran...thanks!

The regional trains between La Spezia and Monterosso (and back) keep running until about 11:30 pm, so you will have ample time to return to Manarola.

Since December 2015 Trenitalia has been publishing regional trains schedules till the next timetable change (June and December) and has been selling regional trains tickets up to 120 in advance.
Now it works like all other trains, You can easily check buy yourself at www.trenitalia.com .
