Today there is a notice in the Monterosso train station that the trail from Riomaggiore to Vernazza is closed. Steady rain yesterday no doubt made hiking more treachorous. The trail between Momterosso and Vernazza seems to remain open.

Swan, the Blue Trail (Sentiero Azzurro) between Riomaggiore and Vernazza has been closed for some time. It was recently reported that a small section of the Via dell'Amore had been re-opened but not the entire length of that route between Riomaggiore and Manarola.
Anyway, the closure is not recent, and it's always possible for weather to close any sections which ARE open (i.e. Monterosso - Vernazza) on short notice.
