Can anyone comment on the status of the shore-line trails from Monterroso to Riomaggiore? I've looked on the 'official' website but the Last Update date says sometime last year. Are the trails open?

Ben, that website is correct: most of the #2 Blue Trail from Monterosso to Riomaggiore is closed. The section from Monterosso to Vernazza is open, and a small, 300-meter section of the Via Dell' Amore at Manarola and but it doesn't allow you to walk between Manarola and Riomaggiore. The Blue Trail is SVA (ex n.2) on the chart/map:

Otherwise, other routes shown on the map in blue, yellow and green are open.
The trails are fragile and all it takes sometimes is a heavy rain to damage them so the best idea is to check conditions at one of the park offices when you get there.
