Cinque Terre trail openings

We will be in Cinque Terre around April 13-15. It seems that the coastal trails are still closed. Any recent updates would be appreciated. It appears that the boats are starting to run, weather permitting. Any news from recent travelers would be helpful. Thanks RWS

When I was there in September we hiked the trail from Vernazza to Monterosso. There were great views on the trail. There was a guy in a little stand nex to his vineyard with Limoncello and Vino for people passing by. (However the trail from Vernazza to Cornigilia was closed).

The save vernazza website (http://savevernazza.com/traveladvisortrailupdates/) has some updates but I'm not sure if it's 100% accurate.

Robert, Thanks for the info. It seems information is not updated often.

I was there in October and some of the trails were open. I was able to walk from Monterosso to Vernazza to Corniglia. The trail from Monterosso to Levanto was also open. Unfortunately, the lovers stroll or Riomagggiore to Manarola was closed. I believe its still closed. Your hotel will know what trails are open or not. Luckily the boats should be running or you can always hop on a train. When you buy your park pass at the rail station they should also be able to tell you which trails are open. I took the boat to Portovenere for the first time on this trip and truly loved that town. It was also off the beaten path which made it less crowded.
