Staying in Vernazza for two nights but they are unable to give us a third, any suggestions of another place and town to stay for this night. Thank you.

We stayed in Riomaggiore last October, which is the first in line at the southern end of CT. It is smaller, and less crowded than Vernazza, but has a small harbor, cafes, a few restaurants, etc. We booked through Mar Mar, http://www.5terre-marmar.com/, and stayed in Malbo A. It sounds like a bit of a hassle to move just for one night; the move will take up at least a half day. Maybe you would do better to find another place in Vernazza for the whole 3 nights, or just for the one extra night.

Perhaps you are right. Maybe we could chance it for that third night and wait until we get there before organizing the last night. I really like the accommodation so I don't want to go elsewhere. Thank you for your suggestion

Hi Carol, Ask the place you are staying in Vernazza if they could recommend a place near them to contact to for the 3rd night. When we were planning our trip this past summer, alot of places I emailed told me they did not have room all the nights we wanted and recommended others to cotact. We did land up chosing a place that had the 3 nights we wanted because my husband did not want to pack up and move for one night. Also, you could ask the place you choose to keep you if they could on a waiting list for the extra night you want. Someone might cancel.
