LOL, Pat!!!! 🤣

More on this from the Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre website, and it appears that Via dell'Amore now has its own (temporary?) site:

https://www.parconazionale5terre.it/Edettaglio.php?id=75005
https://www.viadellamore.info/en

Of note is that the Parco Cinque Terre trekking or trekking/treno cards do not cover access to this path between 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.; you have to buy the ticket separately. However, a pop-up window in the opening screen - which may or may not appear- states:

"From August 5th to September 3rd, by purchasing the
entrance ticket, you will be granted access again in the
evening, from 7 pm to 10 pm (last admission at 9 pm)
*The evening admission will also be valid on other dates."

So if I'm reading it right, it looks like you are able to get onto the thing during these hours with just park cards, if you have them.

This is why I love this board. Thank you so much for this information! I just booked it for our trip in September.

I just read about this too. 30 people per tour every 30 minutes. Looks like I'll just make it. I'll be in CT on the 30th of September the last day of the trial run.

I'm glad it is going to re-open. I'm also glad I got to hike it twice before the landslide...

Sounds a lot more difficult than when I went. We paid a day fee to hike but (in October) didn't need to plan ahead. It's a nice walk, that regularly washes out and closes for repairs. If you haven't been on it, don't plan on a hike (boots, poles, etc.). You can easily navigate it with any sneaker or walking shoe. I wouldn't recommend flip-flops because there are some short up or down hill places.
