My family is coming to visit while I am abroad this semester. We want to spend two days in Cinque Terre in late March of 2015. Has anyone heard any updated news on the condition of Path 2 and whether it may be available for hiking in late March?
Here's a source for information on conditions of that trail:

Note that significant portions of the trail are not going to be open until after your date.
If you keep checking the site, you may get updated information.
rb,
The "official" start of the tourist season in the Cinque Terre is 1 April, so I'm not sure which of the Sentiero Azzurro hiking trails will be open in late March. The segment from Manarola to Corniglia has been mostly closed the last few years, so no idea if it will be open this year? The segment from Manarola to Riomaggiore (Via dell' Amore) has also been closed since late September 2012, following a rock slide that seriously injured four Australian tourists (which is somewhat ironic since that's the easiest section, and mostly flat and paved).
One other point to keep in mind is that the trails may be open or closed on short notice according to local weather conditions. You'll have to check the official Park website just prior to your trip, or ask the staff at your hotel when you arrive. Note that a Park Pass will be required to hike the trails.
