My husband and I have visited CT in the past, but are trying to work in an overnight there this fall. Any suggestions for a favorite town and/or favorite place to stay?

Shay, At this late date, it could be difficult finding accommodations in the C.T. When are you planning to be there? I started looking in about March and it took be the better part of four days to get something arranged. Your best bet would probably be Monterosso, as it's the largest of the five villages and therefore has the greatest number of accommodations. Good luck!

We stayed at Hotel Margherita in Monterosso and enjoyed it. It's modern, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was quite large and they have a wonderful breakfast buffet (the best we had in Italy). It's in the old town part of Monterosso and an easy walk to/from the train station.
