Cinque Terre on Easter

I am going to stay overnight in Monterrosso (Cingq Terre) on Easter ...does anyone know if I should bring food with me. Wondering if any restaurants will be open. I assume the trains will still be running. Wonder if there is anything else I should know. Thanks! Ellen

I'm pretty sure there will be restaurants open. In the unlikely event you can't find any the best option is a fishing pole and some worms for bait. If you manage to start a fire with a stick and cook on the beach it will be a memorable Easter.

Ellen, I also believe there will be some restaurants open. Which hotel are you staying at? You could send them an E-Mail just to confirm that. If it turns out that most places will be closed, you could also pick up some sandwiches or other picnic items in the local stores on the day before Easter. I'm sure the hotel would store them for you in the fridge if necessary. Happy travels!

Thanks for your input. I did write to the hotel and they told me all the restaurants are open unlike the big cities where they are all closed. Wont have to eat Power Bars for Easter dinner! Thanks

We were in Tuscany 2 years ago at Easter and everything was open and running normally. Seemed actually a bit busier than normal.
