Cinque Terre - Manarola

We'll be traveling to the Cinque Terre area the middle of November and arriving early afternoon with no lodging reservations. Is this wise? We know it's off season and were thinking it would be nice to try and find accomodations in Manarola. Does anyone have any suggestions? We would like to keep the cost under $100 euro/night.

Ernest, I'd suggest pre-booking accommodations in Manarola (or elsewhere in the Cinque Terre) even in November. I believe that would be prudent, as all the towns start to shut-down for the winter at that time of year (it's the end of the season). While it's possible you might easily find rooms, you could also find that it takes some time and wandering around to find someplace that's still open. Happy travels!

I don't think you have any problem to find a room in November. I would recommend you to find a room in Riomaggiore instead of Manarola. Riomaggiore is a bigger town. More room available. Also they have three to four room/ apartment rental service agents (shop) in town. ( I don't think Manarola have one) You can easy to check it out. The rental for a small one bed room apartment should be under 100E. A room with private bath should be around 70E to 80E. Some of the agent have two nights minimum, but in off season they might take one. FYI, most of the agents office close before 5PM.
They also take lunch hour.

Thank you for your suggestions. We booked La Scogliera in Riomaggiore. They have fantastic reviews and the view from the apartment looks amazing.
