Hello...I was in the Cinque Terre before the flood in mid-September. Enjoyed it very much, especially after all of the sight seeing in Rome. Interested in any comments about a return trip in early to mid-November. Thank you.

I'm not sure that November would be a good time for travel to that area. The weather will likely be getting a bit cold and wet, and there's really not a lot to do there in bad weather. Also many of the hotels, restaurants and other tourist businesses will be starting to close down for the season.

I was in Cinque Terre end of September beginning of October & could see a lot of transition out of season, shops & restaurants closing up etc..I’m sure it’s beautiful anytime, but be prepared for slim services.

October to November is prone to heavy rain; see the current weather which is not uncommon! So, probably not the best use of your time at that time of the year.
