I read some previous postings regarding weather and rain in CT. I understand the freak flood/storm last year in October. Experiences in CT in October?

Melinda, AFAIK, the rainfall that occurred in the Cinque Terre last October 25th was a rare and unusual occurrence. While there can be rain in that part of Italy (and other areas) in October, it's not normally that severe. I experienced a incredible torrential downpour in Lucca on September 25th, so it can happen anywhere and anytime. I was in the Cinque Terre towards the end of September last year, and the weather was beautiful and sunny at that time. Happy travels!
