Our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) will be visiting the Cinque Terre in early July. Does anyone have any suggestions for budget apartments or larger family rooms with at least 3 beds?
We're renting an apartment through www.acasa5terre.it in May for 130 euros a night for a family of four (2 adults, 2 teens). It's in Manarola, beautiful view, balcony, etc. They have very positive reviews.
Elizabeth - We're a family of 4 & we're staying at Hotel Villa Steno in April. I can't give you a review since we haven't gone yet, but the people there have been just wonderful to work with.
Hotel Villa Steno does indeed have family (quad) rooms, and they get rave reviews on Tripadvisor.
If you would prefer an apartment, you might try La Marina rooms place in Vernazza.

It is a 2-bedroom apartment built right into the sea wall below the castle. One teen can sleep on the sofa bed in the living room; the other in the second bedroom.
I found the proprietor, Christian Carro, very kind and responsive in e-mail contact.
We spent 3 nights in Monterosso at Manuel's Guesthouse in 2007. Our teenage son and daughter shared one room while my wife and I had another. It was very affordable and had a great view over the town and out to the bay. Access to the kitchen allowed us to cook some simple meals with local ingredients. We loved it.
