Hello all,
I see one of the hiking paths I hope to use in a few weeks near Vernazza is listed as temporarily closed. I'm not sure how often this site is updated (link below). Is there a better place to find current information on the paths?

Try this one:

The one valadelphia helpfully linked is the official site for park. Clicking on any of the colored lines and then "View the itinerary" will bring up detailed info on the selected trail segments, although any of them marked in black are currently closed. They update the site regularly, and anything from foul weather to landslides or other damage can close them at any time.
We were there last May and leading up to our arrival some of the paths appeared to be closed. We were able to hike from Monterosso to Corniglia quite easily on the blue trail. The next day we started in Riomaggiore and hiked trail 531 (the coastal trail was closed) which was a bit more challenging but well worth it. There are some options available if the trail you are wanting is closed. Be flexible and it will all work out. There are beautiful views on all of the trails. Good luck.
Even the best and most careful planning will not guarantee open trails. All it takes is a heavy rain to close them.
Currently several trails are closed through 2024. Here is another tool for keeping track of them.
