We will be in Italy at the end of October. Would like to take a ferry from La Spezia to Cinque Terre. The only schedule I could find says that it is the schedule until September 15th. Does anyone know if the ferries stop running after that or do they just run less frequently? If they do run, any idea when the post September 15th schedule gets posted? Thanks
Hoping to see an answer soon as we are planning on taking the ferry from Monterosso al Mare to La Spezia on the 19th of September.
Just found this: https://www.bestofcinqueterre.com/en/boat-timetables-history#old
Hope it helps.
Most years the Cinque Terre ferries have stopped on Nov. 1, the All Saints holiday, or on Nov. 2, the 'Festa dei Morti', depending on which day of the week the date falls. However it has varied. In 2019 it was Nov. 4, and last year they stopped early on Oct. 24 perhaps due to Covid. Older schedules for an entire year can be seen here - there is little change year to year: https://www.apathtolunch.com/2014/06/complete-cinque-terre-portovenere-la.html
At the end of the season there are 4 or 5 per day. Note that ferries can be cancelled or will skip stops depending on the weather and the waves. Late in the season that's a real possibility, so have alternate plans ready. The ferry company has (recently) been posting schedules changes reliably in the morning on their FB page here:

You can also try asking about the last day by email, they have responded to my simple questions: [email protected]
very helpful - thanks
Thank you. Helped me too. Didn’t know they did reservations, so glad to have that info.
