Looking for updated information on the ferry from Vernazza to Montorossa in either direction.
Looking for the cost one way, the place to purchase the ticket and the location in either town to get on the ferry.

The ticket office for the Ferries in Monterosso is right on the concrete pier and is on the way to the Ferry docking location at the end of the pier. The entrance to the pier is at the old town entrance to the tunnel, almost directly opposite Hotel Pasquale. You can't miss it!

Don't do like I did a couple of weeks ago and get on the the wrong boat. Was trying to go from Monterosso to Riomaggiore and ended up on a non-stop to Portovenere that went on to LaSpezia. Fortunately it's an easy train right from LaSpezia back to Monterosso, once you find the train station in LaSpezia (20 minute walk from boat dock). My little travel screwup on my last trip.
If there are two boats docked at the time you are expecting to leave, make sure you ask if the boat is going to where you intend.
