Cinque Terre during winter

I need some quick advice from anyone who can help. I am planning to go to the Cinque Terre this weekend with my daughter and want to find a double room with a view (need parking as well). I have tried a couple of places and they are closed. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Also, anyone know if buses, trains, etc. are running in this off season?? Restaurants??? Thanks!!

I would try to find somewhere in Monterosso. It is the largest of the 5 towns and more places are likely to be open there. I can suggest a great hotel but it does not have a view & I'm not sure about parking. You'll have to park above the town in a lot. The hotel is in the old town and is called Hotel Margherita. It's very clean and modern and they have a wonderful breakfast buffet; the largest assortment of items that I saw in Italy (fresh pastries, yogurt, toast, eggs, cheese, meats, etc.) Have a great time.

Hi Mel - You might also try my friend Carla in Vernazza - http://www.nerinarooms.it/
A nice place directly on The Harbor next to Al Castello. A quiet time of year for Cinque Terre but always Beautiful!!

Enjoy your trip, Greg

Parking? Must you drive? The trains are always available, but parking in the CT area is sparse.
