How often and late do the trains run from Riomaggiore to the other towns and back?
What is the easiest way to get there driving from Lucca?

I don't know when you are traveling but Trenitalia.com shows departures of the first train leaving Riomaggiore at 4:39in the morning and arriving in Monterosso at 4:54 and the last train leaving at 00:59 and arriving at 1:14. These dates are for early June. Trains run about once an hour more or less. The journey lasts between 7 and 19 minutes with most in the 8 to 15 minute range, It depends on the number of intermediate stops. Check trenitalia.com for your specific dates and towns. I have no information about driving from Lucca.

The easiest way to get to the CT from Lucca is not to drive but take the train. There is limited parking in the CT and especially in the high season parking can be hard to find. Monterosso is bigger and has more parking.
