Has anyone stayed at Buranco Ag in Monterosso (CT area)? Rick Steve recommends it in his book. It is a 5 -10 min walk from town so I was wondering if it was ok staying that far out. I did want to experience this type of atmosphere though. What do you think?

Check the reviews out on Trip Advisor. It sounds like a nice place with good ratings (only 3) although there is a uphill climb to get to it that is not lighted at night. 2 of the reviews are in Italian. To translate them, copy and paste the text into translate/google.com and choose Italian to English.

thanks, I did see those reviews and it did sound nice. Just wondering if anyone else has been there. And what they think about the distance from town or would it better to stay in town itself. In order to make the depoist for our stay we would have to make a wire transfer (which cost $40) since they dont take credit cards.

We stayed in two different rooms in Vernazza, for three nights. It was so nice staying right in the small town. I would do that again, and stay at the Agriturismo when in Tuscany. It is our favorite area in Italy, and plan to go back this June staying in Vernazza! Enjoy! Hike all the towns!
