Cinque Terre Apartments/B and B

I know that many people have asked questions about the Cinque Terre, but I am going to ask again :)

Traveling to the Cinque Terre for 4 days in July with a party of 4. We know that we have to book these accommodations ASAP, but we would love to stay somewhere in an apartment or B and B, for a more authentic experience.

Can anyone make any recommendations of places they have stayed and enjoyed?

Thanks in advance!

I always stay in hotels as I travel solo, so can't offer any suggestions on apartments. Have you decided which of the five towns you'd like to stay in?

For both our visits to CT, we used arbaspaa.com to book. They run the gamut from rooms to B&B's to hotels and apartments. You can send them your # of people, area you want to stay in and budget and they will send you back what is available. We stayed in the same room in Corniglia both times, but I'm weird like that (as in - sometimes I like the LEAST popular place to stay!).

They also arrange wine tastings/tours, hiking, scenic boat rides and flights and have a store front in Vernazza.

We loved, loved, loved our little apartment in Monterosso - booked on booking.com. We had a very tight budget for a family of four so was happy with a one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the lounge - after all we only ate breakfast, changed clothes between beach trips and slept there. It was called Il Portico. Might be crowded (and lack privacy with the sofa bed) for four adults but great for 2 ad and 2 ch

We are open to staying in any of the towns, all of them seem to have a different flavour.

Does anyone have a favourite town or recommendation?

We loved the Monica Lercari apartments in Vernazza - we were far enough away from the square (it's noisy at night) and the balcony was to die for !

Also try La Toretta in Manarola.
