Cinque Terre Apartment Rental

My husband and I would like to rent an apartment in Cinque Terre this summer. So far I've had no luck finding information online. The main sites like VRBO don't seem to have any apts for that area. Can anyone suggest something? We want to be there for 3 weeks in August. We've been married five years and are finally taking a honeymoon!

Erin, when I was in Vernazza back in 2006, I stayed in an apt that was right on the boardwalk/beach AND loved it!!! Giacomo Callo and Maria Capellini
No 26 [email protected] T. 338 4363411 (or T. 338 4363477) We had a view of the beach and the church, I see my apartment on Rick Steves intro to his shows. It was newly remodeled and very beautiful, comfortable. I think we paid 85 euros/per night??? Giacomo may remember us as the girls who didn't have reservations and, because Rick Steves' book forgot to list that June 2 is the National Holiday, we had to sleep on the beach. I was the grumpy one, but my friend was very excited to be on the boardwalk and didn't mind paying more than our budget allowed. Say Hi to Giacomo and Maria for me!!!!

Erin For the past several years we have used arbaspaa.com for our apartment rentals in Cinque Terre. They have a large
data base for apartments. We were very happy with their services. It is hard to find A/C in Cinque Terre so do not assume that you are getting A/C. Hope you have a great trip. Mary

Erin, If you are interested in the apartment in Riomaggiore. Go to Mar-MarRooms.com. Recommended by RS.
They might have a little problem with their website. Click on the MAP first, than you with get in. Mar-Mar is a apartment rental service agency. They have around 30 rooms and apartments and a hostel. No breakfast. Nothing fancy about their apartment but good rates. They have an office/store. Reliable services.

Last June we stayed in an apartment in Corniglia that we rented through Soleterramare. We loved it. Our travel companions stayed in another of their apartments. Our contact was Eleonora Rossi. We had stayed in Vernazza the first time we were there and my husband wanted to stay in Monterosso when we went back but we didn't have any luck finding a place to stay there. Some friends recommended these apartments so we gave it a go. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved Corniglia. I definitely recommend staying there. and don't be afraid to come up the switchback stairs from the train station. it's a feeling of accomplishment when you reach the top!
