We're looking for an apartment suitable for a family of 6 (4 kids), and we think Vernazza is our first choice - but we're open to suggestions. Considering Vernazza as home base because of beach. Does anyone have any suggestions for a suitable apartment (Vernazza or otherwise)?

The Buranco Agriturismo has something that could accomodate you http://www.burancocinqueterre.it/index.php It's above old Monteroso - which has both public/private beaches. Haven't stayed personally, but did sample excellent wine there. Hospitality was wonderful as well.
