My family of four is interested in apartments or other accommodations that include a kitchen in Cinque Terre. Can you recommend any places you have stayed?
Thanks!
Cindy
I stayed at Alla Porta Rossa in Manarola and absolutely LOVED it! Although I stayed in a room (Sapore di Sole), I know that they have apartments available as well; check out the reviews on tripadvisor. I would stay there again!
Thank you! What can you tell me about the town?
hi you can visit http://www.cinqueterre.com/eng/ for lots of information about the cinque terre.

My family and I stayed in a family room at the Hostel in Manarola and it was great. A steep walk though. I believe there are kitchen privileges and they serve great, cheap meals. Great views.
We stayed in Riomaggiore at La Baia di Rio; the room was clean, sparse in decorations but the view was great. The room had a stove top, sink and small fridge. Not a full kitchen but enough to make a dinner or breakfast. YOu can check it out at tripadvisor.com
Hi Cindy,
We just stayed in Maria 3 in Manarola. We loved our stay. There are other apartments too. We used this company and recommend them.

We stayed in apartment 1 for three nights and ended up eating there more than not because it was so beautiful. I do suggest going to the coop in Riomaggiore to buy food, it is the cheapest we found in CT
Thanks so much for your suggestions! I've looked at a few of them and Alla Porta Rossa in Manarola and http://www.acasa5terre.it/houses.html both have apartments that are LOVELY and will house four people. I still need to check out the others, but I really appreciate the information!!!! If you have any other feedback about your stay, I'd love to hear it. I'm wondering how easy or difficult it is to get to the other towns. I'm sure my boys (12 & 14) will want to go to the beach at Monterosso. How much does it cost to hop on a train or bus and visit the other towns for a day?
