heading to CT in Late June...what area do you like the best?

Interesting question. The CT is really small enough that the five towns could be considered one area. You can easily see all five towns by train in one day. Each town has its own character and local charm. Still, for me, they appear to be variations of the same area. Expect very crowded local trains for late June. But it's only minutes between the towns on the train so its quite bearable.

I enjoyed all of the CT towns. I really liked Vernazza best; it's very photoworthy especially from the trail leading out of Vernazza to Monterosso. All of the towns are beautiful. I would also consider a visit to Portovenere, Portofino & Camogli if time permits.
