My husband and I are searching for a nice B&B near or in Cinqua Terra for July 5-9, and wondered if there is one that someone loved and enjoyed! thanks! Barb
We had to book our stay at a hotel in the newer part of Monterosso due to a coinciding holiday, but we ventured up the hill in old Monteroso to escape the crowds on our first day in town and came upon a very nice agriturismo - Buranco. I can't vouch for the accomodations, but the wine is amazing, as was the service we were provided. The views of the old town from above were pretty nice too
Check Rick's Italy guide book for small apartments and B&Bs there, especially in Vernazza, or go to the link below that was so helpful to us in locating a place. It's been two years and I can't recall the name. http://www.cinqueterre.com/accommodations/eng/vernazza/ Try to spend at least two nights there and explore. My most treasured posession from my trip is the picture I took from high above Vernazza looking down on the harbor from the hiking trail. You do realize you're going in the hottest time of the year? We were there in mid-September and it was perfect.
