Cinisi,Sicily

Hi,
Going to Cinisi to visit the town where my grandparents were born, prior to RS Sicily tour in September. Spending one night. Have a few questions if anyone is familiar:
1) Is there a Catholic cemetery in Cinisi or only the public one I have found?

2) How walkable is the town? Staying near the Chiesa Madre Santa Fara. Can we walk to the beach? To the cemetery?
3) Recommendations on “where the locals go” restaurants?
4) Is it safe to walk all over town?
5) Uber service available? May want to see Terrasini- how best to get there. We will not have a car.

Sorry so long but thanks!

I've never been to Cinsi, but Google Maps indicates that it's not terribly far from the beach and Terrasini, probably between 1.5 and 2 miles because there aren't a lot of through streets (I'm suspecting hills).

The rail/bus stations are about midway between where you're staying and the beach, as the crow flies (closer to the beach in terms of walking time). You might be able to find a taxi at the station, but it's possible they only hang out there around the time trains are due in. Your hotel/B&B should be able to provide advice on transportation, including whether Uber operates there. It should also know whether there's a second cemetery in town.

I'd be shocked if there were any safety issues in Cinisi.
