Can anyone give me some info on how to both visit the monastery and see the art collection. Last time in Venice, I showed up at a time it was supposedly open on the weekend, and it wasn't. Don't know if I went to the wrong entrance, or ??? Has anyone succeeded in visiting? Any suggestions on how I can do it?

Reid's Italy has some info...and for the Cini Foundation if I chose a particular exhibition, I got the days and hours for it. That website is not great at disseminating info... Sorry I don't have any firsthand tricks to getting in :-(
