Cinco Terre Italy

I will be in Cinco Terre in late April early May. Am going by car. Do you know any place to park?

You need to do some reading up on Cinque Terre. The rules have changed recently to try to address the tremendous overcrowding the region is facing.

This link is a starting point. It discusses parking. An alternative is to park outside the region, say at Lucca, and take the train.

How long will you be there? Will you be staying in one of the towns or just taking a day trip?

Park in La Spezia, if you must have a car, and take the train to the Cinque Terre villages.

Worth a mention? No 'rules' have been established or changed regarding limiting numbers visiting the Cinque Terre. That was a rumor going around awhile back but nothing came of it.

And, in case you hadn't noticed, it's Cinque (Italian, pronounced TSHINK-weh), not Cinco (Spanish). Have a great trip.

There is parking in La Spezia, Monterosso, Riomaggiore. Levanto. All other towns have limited to non existing parking availability.
Where you want to park, depends on where you are coming from with your car and where you want to go in the Cinco Tierras (if we want to speak Spanish, let's do it all the way).

Molly, your question was quite vague.

Did not explain where you were coming from and where headed after the Cinque Terre.
Did not say why you need a car and where you pickup and drop off the car.
If you have a booking in the Cinque Terre you did not say where and for how long.
All of these factor into answers you may receive.

Since their is absolutely no need for a car when staying in the Cinque Terre usual advise is to not have one but if the other sides of your plan require a car than often best to leave it parked outside of the area in a garage which is the advise you got.
You are going to pay a fairly hefty daily parking fee for parking most anywhere.
There are some exceptions where you may be better driving to where you are staying or at least that town but they often have challenges or potential challenges associated so would rarely be recommended and definitely not be recommended unless someone knew all of the circumstances.
