Ciampino to Fiumicino

Taking Ryanair into Ciampino Airport. Need to get to Fiumicino Airport. How long does it take, what means of transportation is there available, and how much does it cost?

There is a bus service from Campiano to Termini station in Rome and from there you can catch the express train to Fiumicino. All up about €26 per person. If there are two or more of you then you might find it much simpler and probably not much more expensive to see if you can get a car service. See what quote you can get from www.romecabs.com

I am not certain that they will provide a service between the two airports but would be surprised if they do not.

Also factor in the risks associated with a same day transfer to another airport and to another airline. If your Ryanair flight is seriously late then you could miss your second flight and lose your money. Where is your second flight going to?

When one is not familiar with an area, there is nothing better than having a private driver meet you and whisk you to your destination. No fending off rouge cabs, waiting in the regular taxi line, waiting for a bus, or just having a "lost" feeling. It is not the cheapest way, but it is definitely the best. I think (but am not positive) that Rome Cabs does transfers between the two airports. We can not say enough good things about them. It is a private car service and not just a regular cab company. We have used them many times and have always been very pleased. Go to romecabs.com and see what you think. We usually send an email and they answer us with a quote within 24 hours. You do have to pay cash (Euros) and the end of the journey but not in advance.
