We have 2/3 of a Saturday in Rome before our friends meet us. We plan to do all the touristy things with them. I was thinking we could visit a few churches. Does anyone have a list or map of which we should see? Our hotel is near the Trevi Fountain.
Do you have the Rick Steve's Rome? He has a great walking tour entitled "Pilgrim's Rome"
Try google.
Don’t miss St. Clements Church.
We gave up trying to visit multiple churches when we came across an intersection that had four, one on each corner. I think we decided we would only look at ones with famous Caravaggio's but didnt go out of our way, as they were plentiful. If architecture was your thing, or the older-the-better, than thats a different preference.
