Christmas Mass in Rome...suggestions?

We will be in Rome at Christmas. Other than attending Catholic Mass at the Vatican, what churches would be recommended for either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? Do you know if tickets required. Thanks!

I attended midnight mass at the Basilica of Maria Maggiore which is near Roma Termini station.

One of the most beautiful midnight masses I attended was years ago at Santa Maria in Aracoeli Basilica (up 124 steps on Capitol Hill). The lighting from gorgeous, elaborate glass chandeliers, the music, and the procession taking the Santo Bambino (baby Jesus) from his throne to the nativity crib at midnight was so moving; very magical.
There were no tickets required at that time, you just showed up on time.

Also several years ago I attended midnight mass at the Pantheon. It was a much less elaborate affair, simple really, but being in such an iconic piece of architecture made it very special for me. No ticket required (at the time). I do remember being quite cold after a while despite being bundled up. Due to the Oculus at the roof it's like sitting outdoors.

Chiesa di Santo Spirito in Sassia normally has a lovely English Mass on Christmas morning. I believe 9am? You need to get there early (at least 15 minutes or so) to get a seat. No tickets are required.

After Mass it is a very short walk to St Peter's Square for the Urbi et Orbi blessing at noon on Christmas.

Italy is wonderful at Christmas. Have a good trip.
