Hello all. I am wanting to do a whole European Christmas market tour(I have read these forums extensively about the markets), however my husband wants to just hang in and around Florence. Does anyone have ideas of Christmas markets and/or day trips from Florence?

There is a Xmas market at Piazza S. Croce. This year from Nov. 21st to Dec. 17th

Arezzo goes all out for Xmas and I would put it first on the list: https://www.arezzocittadelnatale.it/
Arezzo is easily reached by train from Florence.
Siena has a large Christmas market: https://www.terredisiena.it/en/siena-en/siena-christmas-markets/
And of course Siena is a great place to visit anytime.

Lucca and Pisa are both easily reachable by train. Lucca is definitely worth a visit on its own but combining it with Xmas events could add a nice benefit.
