Hello All!
We're thinking about spending next Christmas (2023) in the Lake Como area. I'm hoping for some recommendations on hotels, sites to see (including any day-trip high-altitude trains to the Alps), restaurants, Christmas Markets (also consider day trips), etc.
We're also considering the Dolomites - Castlerotto, etc. - either to stay or visit.

I came across this podcast recently and love it! Kimberly, the host and travel planner, has spent a lot of time on Lake Como in Cernobbio and gives lots of information.

Keep in mind that many hotels on Lake Como close for the season. Your options will be limited.
