Considering arriving at Rome's airport on Christmas Day. Will transport to the city center be available?
How bout food? Will we find any restaurants/markets open?

Yes, transport and food will be open. You're best however to make a lunch/dinner reservation or finding a restaurant without a long wait (if at all) will be difficult.
