We are a family of 6 staying in Rome over Christmas this year. We rented an apartment near Campo de Fiori and would love some recommendations for a delicious, but not break-the-bank dinner on Christmas Day. I have read that areas of the Jewish Ghetto may be open. Any suggestions?
Check the following websites: the information is from 2013 but should be a guide as to what may be open. I assume hotels will be offering dinners? Might be worth checking some of those.

Do let us know how you make out!
A surprising number of restaurants are open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But do reserve as many Romans and other travelers have the same plan as you.
We have eaten here on three Christmas Eves: 2011, 2012 and 2013. They do a fixed price all seafood (traditional!) menu and it is so good and so much fun. €45 pp including wine. Many places run over €80 or so per person on special occasions, so do watch out for those F.P. menus.
The ghetto is indeed a good choice as well. Many hotels do the high-priced fixed price thing and over €100 pp for Christmas Day is common. We found in the ghetto the restaurants offer regualr menus and prices. Again, do reserve!
