My husband and I will be in Florence from Dec 22-27 before heading to Sorrento. For those who may have been in Florence last Christmas (2018), were there restaurants open that day that you visited? I am tracking openings on The Fork, and other sites as well but thought perhaps one of you had some suggestions on specific restaurants. Thanks!

When I was in Florence on Christmas Day a couple of years ago, I saw many restaurants open, especially for lunch. Some have special Christmas Day menus for a set price. You DO want to make reservations, at least a few days ahead, wherever you go!

Very encouraging... trying to stay on top of things around whats going to be open... If you or anyone has suggestions on sites that I can check to source open restaurants that day, would appreciate those!
