During our stay in Italy in October, we plan to attend one day of the Perugia Chocolate Festival. From what I can tell it runs from Oct 15-24, 2010. Has anyone gone? Is it worth going? Is it better to go during the weekend?
Thanks in advance!!
Anyone???
If it helps you, anything that involves chocolate SOUNDS worth going to... :)
Yes, it does doesn't it?? :)
Can never go wrong with wine AND chocoalate!!
I have an American friend who lives in Assisi. We were in Tuscany in October 2008 and I asked her about going to the Chocolate festival in Perugia. I can't remember the reason but she advised us not to go. We didn't, maybe just because we were busy doing other things, but I know she didn't think much of it and she is a big fan of most festivals there.
A friend and I went several years ago and had a great time! We trained in and I remember the smell of chocolate overtaking us as we ascended on the escalators...WOW! We're going to be in Italy from the 14th to the 27th and plan to go back this year. I hope it is as fun as I remember...everyone at home got chocolate reminders of our trip.
Sounds wonderful LaVee..............can't wait :)
We watched them setting up for this event but left before it kicked off, looked like it would be neat. My advice if you travel by train or bus is to check out the mini metro for easy access up to the city. Very convenient.
