Children's Tickets Colosseum

We will be be taking our three grandsons, ages 12-16, to the Collosseum and the information on the coopcultutre.it website is confusing. It has reduced price (children) tickets for EU residents, but elsewhere it says non-EU residents get reduced price tickets also, which is it? We don't want to waste buying adult tickets for them if it's not necessary. but we don't want to reserve adult tickets and not be able to get our grandson's tickets on the day of our visit. Help!

Curtis, ALL children under 18 of any nationality are free. It's EU young people ages 18 - 25 who qualify for reduced tickets.

If you are buying general-entry tickets, then just reserve your adult tickets, choose to pick those up at the desk, and pick up the kid's free tickets there at the same time (kids tickets can't be printed out in advance). If you're buying a tour, then you need to make the appropriate reservations and pay the tour price, if required, for their various ages.

Be sure and bring their passports for proof of age when you pick up your tickets.

If you're buying free or reduced tickets you are not able to print them out at home. The email may elude the the fact that they are attached and you can print them, but you won't see any attachment. Take your confirmation to the correct colosseum gate and there you will get your tickets. Please do not forget your children's passports, we were there last month and every venue where I had reduced or free tickets asked to see my childrens' passports.
